Our Endovascular Hybrid Procedure Nurses facilitate relationship-centered, compassionate, quality care to patients through competent clinical practice and the application of the healing and science of professional nursing. You will provide patient care with surgical, diagnostic, and interventional procedures in a hybrid operating room, a specialized environment that combines surgical and imaging equipment. This role involves assisting with both open and minimally invasive endovascular interventions. The nurse supports both surgical and endovascular concepts, specializing in minimally invasive and advanced hybrid techniques while caring for patients. Requirements

Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)

Nice To Haves

3+ years of Registered Nurse Experience in either Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, Endovascular, and/or Surgery
Bachelors degree in Nursing

Responsibilities

Utilize the ANA Nursing Process (2010) to collect comprehensive data, analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis, identify expected outcomes, develop and implement a plan, ensure patient progression, coordinate care delivery, employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment, provide consultation, and evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
Follow the ANA Standards of Professional Performance (2010) by systematically enhancing the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, attaining knowledge and competency, evaluating one’s own nursing practice, interacting with and contributing to the professional development of peers and colleagues, collaborating with patient, family and others, integrating ethical provisions and research findings into practice, considering factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost and impact on practice, providing leadership, and practicing in an environmentally safe and healthy manner.

Practice within the legal scope of a Registered Professional Nurse as outlined by the state in which employment occurs and deliver competent care consistent with standards / policies, laws, regulators/accreditation/certifying organizations.
