About The Position

RN Cardiac/Interventional Procedural/Recovery Responsibilities Demonstrates professional conduct, effective communication, and a collaborative spirit in interactions with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Maintains flexibility with patient assignments, shift assignments and work schedule. Responds appropriately to both real and simulated emergency situations and demonstrates working knowledge of emergency procedures. Performs pre- and post-procedure patient assessment and monitoring according to the provider orders. Develops individualized patient care plans and implements prescribed interventions with precision. Remains proficient in identifying cardiac arrhythmias and initiates appropriate interventions. Demonstrates competency in neurological assessments and responds appropriately. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree program in Nursing Preferred.
  • Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state. BLS required. ACLS preferred
  • Two years of experience in an acute care area (Preferably Cath Lab) is required. Will consider ICU experienced nurses with post cardiac care experience.
