About The Position

Monument Health is seeking professional, passionate, hardworking, and considerate Registered Nurses for an Endovascular Hybrid Procedure role. This position is open to both newly graduated RNs and those with years of experience, offering a supportive culture of teamwork, professionalism, and mutual respect. As an Endovascular Hybrid Procedure Registered Nurse, you will be an essential team member providing compassionate, patient-focused care. You will facilitate relationship-centered, quality care through competent clinical practice and the application of professional nursing science. The role involves providing patient care during surgical, diagnostic, and interventional procedures in a hybrid operating room, which combines surgical and imaging equipment. You will assist with both open and minimally invasive endovascular interventions, specializing in minimally invasive and advanced hybrid techniques.

Requirements

Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)

Nice To Haves

3+ years of Registered Nurse Experience in either Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, Endovascular, and/or Surgery
Bachelors degree in Nursing

Responsibilities

Utilizes the ANA Nursing Process (2010) to collect comprehensive data pertinent to the Healthcare consumer’s health and/or the situation.
Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or the issues.
Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the Healthcare consumer of the situation.
Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
Implements the identified plan.
Ensures patient progression along plan.
Coordinates care delivery.
Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
Provides consultation to influence the identified plan, enhance the abilities of others and effect change (for advanced practice registered nurse and nursing role specialist).
Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes.
Systematically enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
Attains knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice.
Evaluates one’s own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.
Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
Collaborates with patient, family and others in the conduct of nursing practice.
Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of practice.
Integrates research findings into practice.
