About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking an Endovascular Fellow to join the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center, and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. Jacobi and NCB are respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health, maintaining a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The Division of Cardiology at Jacobi has had a Fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Medicine for over a decade and is a major teaching affiliate for Montefiore’s Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program. Jacobi is a New York State certified STEMI receiving center with an active PCI program and a mechanical support program including ECMO. Jacobi offers outstanding cardiovascular clinical facilities with a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, pacemaker, ICD and BiV ICD implantation, and cardiac CT/MRI. Jacobi also has an active Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) since 2014. This is a 1-year Endovascular Fellowship focusing on arterial and venous disease management using endovascular techniques, including percutaneous interventions for acute pulmonary embolism, wound management, endovenous ablation, interventional dialysis access management, and formal training in vascular ultrasound interpretation provided by Jacobi’s IAC Vascular Testing certified noninvasive lab. The Jacobi experience is unique due to close collaboration between Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Surgery, offering a comprehensive didactic curriculum and hands-on training with both Endovascular Cardiologists and Surgeons.

Requirements

Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York.
M.D./D.O. or equivalent doctoral degree.

Nice To Haves

Prior completion of Interventional Cardiology fellowship.
Prior cath lab experience with percutaneous procedures.

Responsibilities

Manage arterial and venous disease using endovascular techniques.
Perform percutaneous interventions for acute pulmonary embolism.
Engage in wound management.
Conduct endovenous ablation procedures.
Manage interventional dialysis access.
Receive formal training in vascular ultrasound interpretation.

Annual Base Salary: $102,747 based on 40-hour work week.
Estimated annual total value of compensation package: $113,021 (includes baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors).
