About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Endovascular Neurosurgeon for a Locum Tenens position in Springfield, MO. This inpatient role requires 24-hour call coverage, 7-10 days per month, from September 23, 2026, ongoing. The physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive endovascular and general neurosurgical care, including performing procedures such as aneurysm clipping and cerebrovascular interventions. Immediate response to in-house calls and collaboration with the stroke team are essential. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be covered by the agency.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Valid MO medical license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to perform Cerebrovascular (Open, Endovascular) procedures
- Ability to perform Aneurysm clipping
- Ability to perform Endovascular procedures
- Hospital privileges required (temporary privileges available)
Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 endovascular neurosurgery call coverage.
- Respond immediately to in-house call and manage acute neurosurgical emergencies.
- Perform endovascular procedures including aneurysm clipping and cerebrovascular interventions.
- Collaborate with stroke team and support staff for patient care.
- Maintain availability for 7-10 days per month as needed.
