About The Position
Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Center is an outpatient endoscopy center located in Catonsville, Maryland. We specialize in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders and diseases including colon cancer. We are a fast paced, three procedure room center were the staff works a a team to provide quality care to all patients. We were voted the Best of 2026 Surgical Center by Business Rate based on our Google reviews.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification
Nice To Haves
- One year experience as an endoscopy technician
Responsibilities
- Preparing the room and patient for their endoscopic procedure
- Assisting the physician during the procedure
- Collecting and correctly label specimens
- Cleaning and high level disinfection equipment
- Maintaining supplies and equipment
