Endoscopy Technician for GI in NE Portland (Gateway) Temporary
About The Position
The Oregon Clinic is hiring a temporary, part-time or full-time Endoscopy Technician for its Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center in Northeast Portland (Gateway). The technician works with a collaborative, patient-focused team to help provide efficient, high-value care tailored to patients’ needs. This is a temporary, non-benefited position expected to last approximately six months. The hiring range for Level I is $25.14–$34.02 per hour, based on experience and credentials. The typical schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with 10-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hours may range from 20 to 30 per week, and availability on Mondays and Fridays is required.

Responsibilities
- Clean, high-level disinfect, and store endoscopes and accessories in accordance with facility policy, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Accurately document all reprocessing activities in real time.
- Conduct routine testing and identify equipment issues.
- Handle, transport, and store scopes properly to prevent damage or contamination.
- Follow infection prevention and control standards, including use of personal protective equipment.
- Assist with other department duties as assigned.
