About The Position

The Endoscopy Technician II provides specialized technical support during complex gastrointestinal procedures, ensuring the safe and efficient use of advanced endoscopic equipment. The role includes handling therapeutic endoscopy devices and assisting physicians and nurses in high-acuity cases while adhering to infection control and patient safety standards. As a member of the GI team, the technician contributes to quality patient outcomes and operational excellence.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced procedures, including ERCP, EUS, EMR, and stent placement.
• Strong knowledge of GI anatomy, endoscopic devices, and therapeutic techniques.
• Experience with endoscope reprocessing, high-level disinfection methods, and troubleshooting complex equipment.
• Proven experience in supply management or inventory control within a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure clinical environments.
