About The Position
The Endoscopy Technician assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic Gastroenterology and Pulmonary endoscopic procedures. The role is directed by the physician. ECU Health may hire the selected candidate as an Endoscopy Technician I or II based on qualifications, experience, and the minimum requirements met.
Requirements
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- For Endoscopy Technician II: 2–5 years of Endoscopy Technician or Surgical Technologist experience.
- Graduation from an approved Surgical Technology Program, certification from a Military Program, or graduation from an accredited Nursing Program as an RN or LPN.
- Completion of the SGNA Associates Program is required for Endoscopy Technician II.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in the field of Surgical Technologist is preferred.
