About The Position

Acts as a key member of the Endoscopy Service Line, assisting with daily operations and coordinating supply chain logistics. Ensures high-quality patient care through clinical expertise and operational support. Assists with daily operations, maintaining effective case flow and managing instruments, supplies, and equipment. Serves as the primary point of contact for providers, vendors, support staff, and leadership. Maintains clear communication regarding procedures, schedules, and equipment needs. Provides clinical expertise in endoscopy procedures, including: Procedure setup Equipment troubleshooting High-level disinfection (HLD) processes Supports quality assurance and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Collaborates with providers to improve service line efficiency and promote best practices. Contributes to equipment budgeting and procurement, including recommendations for new acquisitions and maintenance. Mentors, trains, and supports endoscopy staff, identifying educational needs and coordinating training sessions. Assists with administrative duties, supporting the Nurse Manager and leadership in: Staffing Regulatory compliance Cost management Participates in on-call rotation as required based on unit staffing needs. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of Endoscopy Tech experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Endoscopy Tech certification through SGNA preferred.
