About The Position

The Endo Tech (2) is an experienced endoscopy technician. It is expected that the Endo Tech (2) will meet the performance standards within the three month probationary period. A Skills Checklist must be completed prior to the three month evaluation. A Tech (2) may qualify to advance to Tech (3) after 12 month‘s experience. The Endo Tech (2) performs the preventative maintenance, cleaning high-level disinfection of endoscopes and accessory equipment. Sets up procedure rooms and assists with diagnostic procedures.

Requirements

• High School, Certificate, GED, Training, Experience
• Basic Life Support certification
• 1 year of experience working as a Nursing Care Technician, Medical/Surgical Assistance or Central Service Technician/Clinical Partner
• Strong interpersonal skills
• More than 6 months experience working as a Tech I
• 2 Years of experience

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification preferred
