Endoscopy Technician 1
About The Position
The Endoscopy Technician 1 provides technical support to the physician during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, working under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). This role assists with all types of GI procedures, including cleaning, high-level disinfection, and basic troubleshooting of endoscopes and accessory equipment, adhering to established policies, protocols, techniques, and guidelines. The technician may also perform unit secretarial and clerical aspects of patient care as needed, under the supervision of a registered nurse. The position requires meeting departmental competencies and utilizing interpersonal skills to ensure excellent customer service and safe patient care, while contributing to a positive and cooperative work environment among a diverse workforce and patient population.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree preferred.
- One year of GI Lab experience preferred.
- Spanish speaking ability preferred.
