About The Position

The Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography Technician (ERCP) in the Endo/GI Lab at Texas Health Plano is responsible for collecting patient data, identifying and reporting significant findings to nurses, performing technical procedures safely and proficiently, taking action to reduce or eliminate patient risk, documenting accurately and appropriately, assisting in admission/transfer/discharge, and adapting care to reflect age-specific and developmental considerations, as well as incorporating cultural/religious needs and beliefs into the delivery of care in collaboration with nurses.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required
1 year of GI clinical experience required
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

1 year of previous ERCP experience preferred
