Requirements
- Associates degree of nursing.
- Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- ACLS certification.
- Must maintain a current, active, and unrestricted license from any U.S. State, District of Columbia, U.S. territory or U.S. jurisdiction to provide healthcare within the scope of practice for a specific health care discipline.
- The RN shall have a minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience in the last four (4) years, post-graduation, as a clinical nurse in medical/surgical.
- Skill setting up, operating, and monitoring specialized medical equipment (IV infusion pumps, cardiac monitoring devices.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and manage adverse reactions to infusion therapy treatments.
- Management of multiple types of central catheters, including Peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) lines, implanted ports, tunneled catheters, etc.
