This position will focus on self-management education for patients with Diabetes, including medical, nutritional therapy, and all other Endocrine diagnoses. Possess knowledge and technical skills with devices to manage diabetes, including insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors. Practice alongside Guthrie's Endocrinology Physicians and APPs to provide high-quality patient care. The prospective provider will have proven success in being a team player and having effective written and oral communication skills.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree (if credentialed after 2024-required) or a B.S in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, or related sciences with completion from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics-approved Internship or Coordinated Undergraduate Program.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain Pennsylvania License
  • Certified Diabetes Educator or able to complete the necessary education and certification.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on self-management education for patients with Diabetes, including medical, nutritional therapy, and all other Endocrine diagnoses.
