About The Position

Mount Sinai Health System seeks an Endocrinologist at Mount Sinai Hospital. The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and the Mount Sinai Health System is offering an opportunity for a clinician with academic interests. The Division seeks clinician educators to support its growth at various Mount Sinai Hospital Campuses. The position will be based at Mount Sinai Hospital. The endocrinologists would provide clinical care in the outpatient and inpatient setting for patients with all endocrine conditions. As such, the candidates should have demonstrated interest and documented experience in care for all endocrine conditions, including diabetes, obesity, pituitary, bone, and thyroid, as well as teaching and clinical research activities. Special consideration will be given to candidates with a particular interest in thyroid and parathyroid disorders, as well as experience or interest in performing thyroid biopsies. The endocrinologists would join an established team of 20 physicians and a multi-disciplinary team comprised of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, registered dieticians, and certified diabetes educators. The endocrinologist also plays an important role in educating Endocrinology fellows and medical residents. Requirements

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York State Medical License
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology
