About The Position

Mount Sinai Morningside and West is seeking a Full-time Clinical Nephrologist at the Assistant Professor level to join its outstanding Division of Nephrology. The Division of Nephrology of Mount Sinai Morningside and West, a part of the Mount Sinai Health System, is comprised of 7 full time and 3 part time nephrologists as well as 7 physician assistants and 1 nurse practitioner. The Division’s mission is to deliver outstanding clinical care in all aspects of Nephrology, be outstanding educators of house staff and physician assistants, and advance knowledge in the field of Nephrology through clinical research. The Division of Nephrology at Mount Sinai Morningside/West, is the principal provider of Nephrology services on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and its clinical activities encompass busy outpatient faculty practices centered on CKD management, supervision of outpatient dialysis at and medical directorship of dialysis centers on the Upper West Side and inpatient consultations at both Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West Hospitals. Faculty members hold academic appointments at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commensurate with experience and teach and supervise our physician assistants and Internal Medicine house staff. The position will have a focus on outstanding clinical work and teaching and have opportunities for clinical research. The successful candidate will be board certified or eligible in Nephrology. Requirements

  • Medical Degree from an Accredited University
  • New York Medical License
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Nephrology
