End User Combustion Consultant
About The Position
The End User Combustion Consultant serves as a fired equipment specialist or engineer for customers in designated geographic locations. The role provides combustion solutions for furnaces, heaters, boilers, flares, incinerators, other fired equipment, and ancillary technologies. The consultant applies problem-solving skills across markets, customers, and equipment, traveling to customer facilities to diagnose equipment issues, upgrade technologies to support environmental initiatives, and resolve combustion problems, primarily for refining and petrochemical end users, with support from a global team. The role uses combustion expertise to provide service and solutions for customers and develop business in the designated area. The position provides expertise in combustion equipment insight, maintenance insight, heater and furnace surveys, pre-turnaround planning and reporting, commissioning support, and navigation of Zeeco systems and resources. This includes diagnosing equipment condition and failures, engineering technical and operational solutions, reviewing maintenance and spare-parts needs, supporting equipment installation and startup, coordinating subject-matter experts and project teams, and arranging training and educational opportunities.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Serve as a fired equipment specialist or engineer for customers in designated geographic locations.
- Provide combustion solutions for furnaces, heaters, boilers, flares, incinerators, other fired equipment, and ancillary technologies.
- Travel to customer facilities to diagnose equipment issues, upgrade technologies to support environmental initiatives, and solve combustion problems, primarily for refining and petrochemical end users.
- Diagnose fired equipment mechanical integrity, operational suitability, estimated remaining useful life, failures, and malfunctions.
- Engineer technical and operational solutions.
- Suggest maintenance scopes for repairs and review completed maintenance for suitability.
- Review spare-parts inventory and sparing levels.
- Conduct preliminary heater and furnace surveys.
- Generate and report pre-turnaround scopes.
- Support commissioning by reviewing equipment received at the site, checking installed equipment for proper alignment, and assisting with commissioning and startup.
- Integrate necessary Zeeco subject-matter experts with customer sites for consultation.
- Develop scopes of inquiry for complete solutions.
- Integrate and expedite Zeeco applications and project teams.
- Coordinate training and educational opportunities.
- Provide customer service and solutions to develop business in the designated area.
