About The Position

The Encompass System Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of ICE Mortgage Technology's Encompass LOS. This is a mid-level role well-suited for a hands-on professional who is ready to take ownership of the platform, support our operations and compliance teams, and drive continuous improvement across our loan origination workflow.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on Encompass LOS administration experience (required).
  • Solid working knowledge of the mortgage loan origination process end-to-end.
  • Proficiency with Encompass Smart Client and/or Encompass Web.
  • Experience configuring business rules, custom fields, input forms, and pipeline views.
  • Ability to manage user access, personas, and role-based permissions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits.

Nice To Haves

  • ICE Mortgage Technology Encompass certification.
  • Experience with Encompass APIs, SDK, or reporting tools.
  • Background in mortgage compliance or regulatory requirements (TRID, RESPA, HMDA).
  • Experience supporting system integrations in a post-merger environment.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity, CompenSafe, or other mortgage operational platforms a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the Encompass LOS platform on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, personas, and system access controls.
  • Build and maintain business rules, input forms, loan templates, milestones, and workflows.
  • Support and manage system integrations (credit vendors, pricing engines, doc management, AUS, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; serve as internal escalation point for end-user support.
  • Assist with system upgrades, patch management, regression testing, and release coordination.
  • Partner with operations, compliance, and IT teams to align system configuration with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, change logs, and procedures.
  • Provide end-user training and ongoing support to loan officers, processors, and support staff.
  • Participate in and support post-merger system integration efforts as needed.
