Requirements

  • Technician in Laboratory, Licentiate or Engineering degree in a related field.
  • No experience required.
  • Spanish language proficiency.
  • Ability to accept/reject raw materials/ingredients that do not meet company specifications.
  • Ability to release production lines.
  • Ability to stop production lines for values outside of specification.
  • Ability to separate non-conforming product.
  • Ability to stop water treatment processes for values outside of specification.
  • Ability to stop syrup processes for values outside of specification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tests to evaluate the Quality attributes of the product and packaging on the process lines.
  • Comply with periodic reviews as indicated by the Monitoring and Control Table.
  • Verify that all products comply with the quality and packaging attributes established in the company's procedures or requirements.
  • Perform tests on rinse water and/or after cleaning of finished syrup tanks, fillers, line fillers, and BIB.
  • Enter the performed tests into the Datalyzer system and record the causes of process failures, as well as the preventive or corrective actions to be taken and prepare reports.
  • Issue and prepare Certificates of Quality for finished products to be published in a folder accessible to Warehouse personnel.
  • Stop processes in case of parameters outside specifications.
  • Perform tests on bottle washers to maintain product quality, according to Quality System requirements.
  • Verify the effectiveness of bottle washing, temperatures, and concentration of the washer tanks.
  • Inform maintenance when tank loads need to be performed to maintain specifications.
  • Perform release tests for electronic inspectors and/or Alexus to detect packaging failures (physical and chemical defects in the packaging).
  • Verify the calibration of laboratory measuring equipment to ensure they are within the required specifications.
  • Proactively participate in Continuous Improvement Groups (EQs) to achieve objectives applicable to the area.
  • Perform release tests for raw materials and/or packaging according to CCM and Packaging Manual requirements.
  • Perform release tests for foreign product, according to CCM and Corporate TPM Manual requirements, to guarantee the quality of all products entering the plant.
  • Propose and suggest improvements to the Management Systems (Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Security).
  • Contribute to the necessary activities of the Continuous Improvement team to fulfill the transversal nature of the team and ensure the correct flow of activities required within the Management System on the Floor (SGGP).
