About The Position

Riverside Pain Physicians is seeking an EMT to join their team at the Southside Location in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time position offers a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on medical experience in an interventional pain management practice, working alongside experienced physicians and a supportive team. Whether you are an experienced Medical Assistant, EMT, recent graduate, or a pre-PA, pre-med, or nursing student on a gap year, this position provides a chance to build clinical skills and advance a career in healthcare. Requirements

• Medical Assistant, EMT, or healthcare experience preferred
• Strong computer and typing skills

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and clinical documentation
• Take vital signs and update medical histories
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Educate patients regarding upcoming procedures and follow-up care
• Coordinate prescriptions, referrals, and medical clearances
• Communicate with pharmacies and outside providers
• Support both front and back office operations as needed
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and uphold HIPAA standards
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
