About The Position

Baptist Ambulance is seeking Basic and Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians in the Union City, Tennessee area. The EMT functions on ALS and BLS ambulances as directed, safely operates the vehicle between pickup and drop-off locations, provides basic life support patient care and movement, documents transports completely according to company standard operating procedures, and adheres to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• State of Tennessee driver’s license.
• State of Tennessee or National Registry EMT certification.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification.
• CPR certification.
• Physically able to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Function as an EMT on ALS and BLS ambulances as directed.
• Safely operate the vehicle to and from pickup and drop-off locations.
• Provide BLS patient care and movement.
• Document all transports completely according to company SOP.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
