About The Position
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) assists Paramedics in providing efficient and immediate care to patients in emergency and non-emergency situations. The EMT provides basic medical support, including CPR, AED use, ventilation, and hemorrhage control, to help stabilize patients. The role also includes documenting all care provided under the direction of EMS services and operating an ambulance in various road conditions to transport patients safely to medical facilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Missouri EMT license.
- Missouri residents must have a Missouri Class E license.
- Missouri non-residents must have a chauffeur’s license or an equivalent Class E license in their state upon hire.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to make appropriate decisions calmly and efficiently under stress in emergency situations.
- Ability to work outdoors.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Familiarity with the age-specific needs of the patient population served.

- Previous EMT experience.
