EMT Paramedic - Emergency Department - Nights
About The Position
The Emergency Medicine Specialist assists with direct patient care and provides support services to patients, families, and other Emergency Department staff. This is a highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position that involves collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to provide the best possible patient care. The role is based at Methodist Midlothian Medical Center, a 46-bed acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas, with a 16-bed Emergency Department. The hospital provides emergency care, advanced surgery, imaging, and labor and delivery services, and has two operating suites and digital and medical technologies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Texas EMT-P certification and license.
- At least 1 year as a paramedic in a pre-hospital or hospital setting.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended.
- 2 years of experience as an EMT-P preferred.
