EMT Paramedic - Emergency Department - Nights
About The Position
The Emergency Medicine Specialist assists with direct patient care and provides support services to patients, families, and other Emergency Department staff. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary team members in a highly technical, fast-paced environment to provide the best possible patient care. The position is scheduled for 36 hours across three 12-hour night shifts per week. Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is a 46-bed, full-service acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas, serving Midlothian and northern Ellis County. The hospital provides emergency care, advanced surgery, imaging, and labor and delivery, and has 16 emergency department beds, two operating suites, and digital and medical technologies. It is designed to expand as the community grows.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Texas EMT-P certification and license.
- At least 1 year of experience as a paramedic in a pre-hospital or hospital setting.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended.
- Two years of experience as an EMT-P preferred.
