As a Communications Specialist (EMT Dispatcher), you will answer emergency medical and fire calls for service and dispatch ambulances and fire resources to locations requesting help. You will process emergency medical and fire-related calls using established protocols, provide callers with instructions to begin patient care and how to safeguard themselves until help arrives, and dispatch the closest appropriate response resource to the scene. You will also communicate safety concerns involving patients and responders to determine if additional precautions or equipment are needed. REMSA Health offers a full academy training program, including an onsite education facility for the EMT course, which must be completed within 6 months of hire if not already certified. This is a full-time position eligible for benefits.
