EMT Certified Security Guard
About The Position
The EMT Security Guard, in accordance with established policies and procedures, is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, staff and protecting Community property. The EMT Security Guard responds to apartment alarms/emergencies, assists nursing staff in lifting residents to a safe position, and performs site and perimeter security rounds. Our secure community begins with our single controlled entrance, manned around the clock. It continues across campus with our own professional roving security staff and EMTs onsite available to respond to emergencies.
Requirements
- High school education; or one year related experience and certified as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
- Must be CPR / AED certified.

- Current EMT certification.
- Excellent customer services skills, patience, and a knack for meeting a wide range of personal needs.
- Clear communication skills with a team-based mentality.
- Competency in the operation of wheelchair lifts and lock down procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities
