About The Position

As a Security Officer Certified EMT Driver in Reading, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an EMT Certified Security Officer, you will be a member of a pre-hospital emergency care medical team. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. As this is a driving post, you will also be responsible for mobile patrols as required. A valid driver’s license is required to meet AU Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An EMT certification is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all.
  • Remain visible to help deter security-related incidents.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and communication.
  • Responsible for mobile patrols as required.
