About The Position
The EMT is responsible for the safe transportation of patients to and from medical facilities and for providing Basic Life Support care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Acceptable Virginia DMV record.
- Current certification as a Virginia EMT-Basic, EMT-Enhanced, or EMT-Advanced.
- Current EVOC certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound reasoning ability.
- Minimum age of 21.
Nice To Haves
- Prehospital or interfacility EMT transportation experience.
