About The Position

The EMT BLS Provider is responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities and providing Basic Life Support care during transportation. The position is with Augusta Health, a mission-driven, independent, nonprofit community health system in Fishersville, Virginia.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Acceptable Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles record.
Current certification in Virginia EMT-Basic, EMT-Enhanced, or EMT-Advanced.
Current EVOC certification.
Current CPR certification.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Sound reasoning ability.
Minimum age of 21.

Nice To Haves

Prehospital or interfacility EMT transportation experience.

Responsibilities
