About The Position
This application is for recommendation for placement in the paramedic program and discounted tuition for up to one (1) student with EMSTA. This is for the next class starting July 2026. Interested students must apply with EMSTA and meet the prerequisites established by EMSTA college. The discount is 50% of the tuition only, not including materials, supplies, and other fees. Continued employment with the District is required to continue receiving the discount.
Requirements
- Internal applicants only.
- Must be a current EMT or Reserve Firefighter with the Lakeside Fire Protection District.
- Resume detailing education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Apply with EMSTA and meet the prerequisites established by EMSTA college.
- Submit a District application and attach a resume detailing education and experience.
- Participate in the testing process, which may include an oral interview.
