It includes a 473-bed community teaching hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group, and special needs services for adults and children. St. Vincent’s is the first hospital in Fairfield County to be integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network and is the system’s second-largest hospital. We are looking for dynamic professionals to join our training team as EMT Instructors. In this position, you will provide student instruction in all domains of learning, including affective, didactic, and psychomotor. Training instructors need to have advanced knowledge of the materials they are teaching and be subject matter experts for their students.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• CT EMT license
• Advanced skills in EMS & EMT
• Deep knowledge of theories, principles, and practices of Emergency Medicine

Nice To Haves

• EMSI preferred
• CT EMS instructor Cert
• CT Human Trafficking Instructor

Responsibilities

• Preparing lecture materials for the assigned topic
• Provide direct skills instruction and demonstrations
• Evaluate, record, and report on student progress
• Coordination with the Program Coordinator and team members on student needs
