EMS Liaison - Emergency Department
About The Position
The EMS Liaison supports a Level I Trauma Center by strengthening operational and clinical alignment between Emergency Medical Services agencies and the hospital. This role ensures timely, coordinated transitions of care for high‑acuity patients, supports EMS operational efficiency, and advances the organization’s trauma, emergency, and specialty service capabilities. The position represents the trauma center within the EMS community, drives relationship‑based problem solving, and contributes to access, growth, and quality outcomes across the pre‑hospital and acute care continuum.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited Paramedic Program
- Active Florida Paramedic license
- Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare experience with demonstrated expertise in community outreach, EMS coordination, or service line development
