About The Position
The EMS Educator will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. This is a per diem position with variable hours, including days and evenings, Monday through Friday. The role involves teaching and providing educational support within the Emergency Medical Services field.
Requirements
- At least two years field experience in Emergency Services.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- Current Illinois Paramedic licensure within the State of Illinois.
Nice To Haves
- Active EMT-P, RN with current field and teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach and provide educational support within the Emergency Medical Services field.
- Attain Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Instructor, and Basic Life Support Instructor certifications within the first year of employment.
- Maintain Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- Maintain Current Illinois Paramedic licensure within the State of Illinois.
