Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Empower LOS and a good understanding of mortgage lending workflows.
- Strong requirement elicitation and management skills.
- Ability to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, cases, and scripts for Empower LOS workflows including Origination, Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Post-Closing.
- Validate configuration, document management, and third-party integrations including RealEC and Equifax.
- Conduct UAT cycles and regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality.
- Elicit business requirements and track them through closure and BRD sign-off.
- Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
- Perform post-production validation and participate in defect triage sessions.
- Track and document defects using tools such as JIRA, ALM, and TestRail.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams for timely defect resolution.
- Ensure adherence to CFPB guidelines including ATR, QM, and TRID, as well as other mortgage regulations.
- Provide usability and performance feedback from an end-user perspective.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
- Assist in training business users on testing procedures and system usage.
