Employment Transition Manager
About The Position
Operation: Job Ready Veterans (OJRV) is seeking a dedicated Employment Transition Manager to guide, support, and advocate for service members, veterans, and their families as they pursue civilian employment. The role provides personalized career services, connects clients with resources, and builds relationships with employer partners to expand hiring opportunities. The manager supports clients individually with resumes, interview preparation, job-search strategies, employment barriers, and referrals to supportive services. The role also tracks client progress, maintains case documentation in Salesforce, and stays connected with clients after training. In addition, the manager partners with employers, promotes job opportunities, advocates for client placement, represents OJRV at hiring events and community meetings, facilitates introductions to employers, and maintains employer and outreach data.
Responsibilities
- Help clients create civilian and federal resumes.
- Prepare clients for interviews and develop job-search strategies with them.
- Identify employment barriers and provide personalized guidance and referrals to supportive services.
- Track client progress and maintain accurate case documentation using Salesforce.
- Stay connected with clients after training to encourage lasting success.
- Partner with employers to promote job opportunities and advocate for client placement.
- Represent OJRV at hiring events and community meetings.
- Share client resumes and facilitate introductions to potential employers.
- Keep employer and outreach data organized and up to date.
