About The Position

The Employment Training Specialist supports the daily operations of UCP Seguin of Greater Chicago’s Employment Services department through administrative coordination, data management, reporting, and direct vocational support. The role works with department leadership, staff, and individuals served to improve efficiency, ensure accurate reporting, and promote independence through community-based employment services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License.
• Use of a personal vehicle with current insurance.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in social services or a related field.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in vocational or employment settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate administrative workflows and recommend process improvements.
• Manage department databases and develop expertise in their use; train new staff.
• Prepare and support monthly program and performance reports.
• Provide administrative and billing support for Employment Services.
• Assist individuals with developmental disabilities in building work behaviors and functional skills, and understanding workplace expectations to support successful community employment.
