The Part-Time Employment Trainer helps participants learn new job duties at their work sites and supports them in working toward individual employment goals. The role involves one-on-one, on-the-job assistance as participants adjust to a new worksite, understand and perform their duties, and develop work skills. Support is supplemented as needed and systematically faded as participants gain independence. The trainer may occasionally transport participants to work and help them learn about other transportation options and pedestrian safety, as well as assist with wheelchairs. The position is based in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and offers up to 25 hours per week with flexible scheduling. Most shifts are Monday through Friday during the day, though occasional weekends, evenings, and nights may be required. The hourly pay is $15.85.
