The Young Adult Treatment Team (YACTT) is a multidisciplinary team dedicated to assisting young adults in acquiring the skills necessary for independent and productive lives. The team offers skill-building in areas such as life skills, coping mechanisms, symptom management, interpersonal relationships, vocational and educational pursuits, and health and wellness. YACTT employs assertive engagement strategies to overcome treatment barriers, meeting young adults where they are, with outreach being the primary method of service delivery. The team emphasizes collaboration, meeting at least three times weekly to coordinate care and provide mutual support. Staff also receive individual supervision from the Program Director, a Licensed Mental Health professional with expertise in working with the young adult population. Recognizing that many YACTT clients have experienced significant or complex trauma, the team operates with a trauma-informed care approach.
