The Employment Specialist/Job Coach will serve as an advocate for individuals with disabilities seeking employment. This role involves assisting referred individuals with job placement, follow-up, and training. The position also includes providing case management, social service referral assistance, and job readiness training and instruction. The role requires completing training as defined by the Phoenix Professional Development Plan, providing information for statistical requirements, and maintaining reporting and records as outlined by policy, referral source, and accreditation requirements. A working knowledge of current contract requirements, AbilityOne regulations, CARF standards, social security guidelines, Phoenix mission/policies, departmental goals and objectives, and other sponsoring agency guidelines is necessary.
