The International Institute of New England (IINE) is offering an Employment Services Internship for Fall 2026. IINE has a long history of supporting refugees and immigrants through resettlement, education, and employment services. This internship provides students, graduate students, and recent graduates with practical experience in assisting refugee and immigrant clients with their job search and integration into the US workforce. The internship includes an educational component for reflection and contextualization of the experience. All internships are unpaid and align with the academic semester system. This specific internship has a hybrid format, with a preference for individuals located near Lowell, MA, who can commute to the office. The Employment Services program helps clients find their first jobs in the US or upgrade their current employment. Employment Specialists assist clients with resumes, job searching, applications, interview preparation, and post-placement support. Interns will work directly with clients on resume and cover letter writing, interview practice, and answering questions during the initial stages of employment.
