About The Position

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking an experienced Employment and Labour associate for their Vancouver office. The firm boasts one of the largest management-side employment and labour practice groups in the country, representing employers on all aspects of workplace law in both unionized and non-unionized environments, across provincial and federal sectors. This includes expertise in employment litigation and compliance, labour board proceedings, labour arbitration, human rights, executive employment contracts, employee compensation and benefits, pay equity, privacy law, collective bargaining, human resources strategies, occupational health and safety, and workplace policies. Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of post-call experience.
  • Excellent academics.

  • Exposure to Employment & Labour matters.

Responsibilities

  • Represent employers on all aspects of workplace law in unionized and non-unionized environments.
  • Handle employment litigation and compliance matters.
  • Manage labour board proceedings and labour arbitration.
  • Advise on human rights, executive employment contracts, employee compensation and benefits, and pay equity.
  • Address privacy law, collective bargaining, human resources strategies, and occupational health and safety.
  • Develop and implement workplace policies.

Benefits

  • Salary of $145,000 - $205,000 per year, depending on year of call.
