Apple's Legal organization safeguards that innovation and the culture behind it, and our Labor & Employment Law team sits at the center of how Apple treats its people worldwide. We're looking for an employment attorney to join this team and provide practical, day-to-day legal support on the issues that matter most to a global workforce.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in labor and employment law
• Solid working knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws and regulations (including ADA, ADEA, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA, etc.)
• JD or equivalent degree
• Admission to at least one US state bar

• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal audiences
• Strong client relationship skills and a collaborative approach to working with HR and management
• Prior experience supporting management or HR teams directly
• Comfort working through ambiguous situations without established precedent
• A sense of humor and an unwavering commitment to professionalism

Responsibilities

• Partner with Human Resources and business leaders on employee and labor relations matters
• Support internal investigations
• Help apply employment law to real situations across a fast-moving, global business
• Work alongside more senior counsel on litigation matters and administrative charges
• Build strong working relationships with HR and management as a responsive, reliable legal partner
• Support HR and management on day-to-day employee relations issues
• Assist with workplace investigations under the guidance of senior counsel
• Help manage outside counsel on litigation and agency charges
• Contribute to legal training for HR and management teams
