About The Position

The Employment Coordinator position at JBS USA is responsible for various administrative and recruitment tasks within production and maintenance settings. This role involves significant data entry, filing, touring applicants, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews and physicals, and interviewing hourly production candidates. Key duties also include I-9 completion, running E-Verify and background checks, and maintaining spreadsheets. The working environment includes exposure to chemicals, machinery, and knives, with conditions such as slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud noise. The role requires flexibility for mandatory overtime and weekends, and operates in a high-traffic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally in English
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Computer knowledge required/All Microsoft office applications and Plant specific programs
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work 50+ hours, must be flexible
  • Excellent attendance
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel
  • Communication/public relations skills required
  • Data entry accuracy
  • Proficient Grammar skills
  • Computer Skills essential (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
  • Ability to work well with people while performing various tasks under pressure
  • Able to work in a high energy environment
  • Professional phone skills
  • Maintain Confidentiality a must
  • Able to bend, stoop, and lift 20 lbs.
