About The Position

TPI Staffing Service is looking for an Employment Coordinator. This role involves interviewing and screening candidates to ensure their skills align with existing or upcoming assignments, and coordinating the interview process with relevant parties. The Employment Coordinator will be responsible for interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for various positions across TPI's clients, conducting background investigations, and managing drug testing.

  • Skills in creating and maintaining computer files.
  • Knowledge of interpreting and applying company HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Interviewing, testing, and referring applicants for clerical, technical, general labor, administrative and management positions.
  • Performing background reference investigations, including prior employment references and transcripts.
  • Conducting drug testing and screening employees as needed for clients.
  • Maintaining and updating employee applications and job orders.
  • Ensuring all documentation is received and completed when placing applicants on assignment.
  • Making arrival calls to confirm employees have arrived at their jobs.
  • Communicating regularly with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Handling phone calls regarding problems or dissatisfaction from employees and/or clients.
  • Taking inquiries from new customers, explaining services, and obtaining necessary information.
  • Preparing documents and entering information into the HRIS system.
  • Checking on temporary jobs for customer and employee satisfaction.
  • Providing administrative assistance and support.
  • Creating and maintaining computer files.
  • Interpreting and applying company HR policies and procedures for temporary employees.
