About The Position

Chiesa, Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (CSG Law) is seeking an associate attorney to join its Employment Practice Group. The position is hybrid from the firm’s New Jersey office. The anticipated initial annual salary range is $180,000–$215,000, with the actual base salary depending on factors including qualifications, relevant experience, education, certifications or professional licenses, and, if applicable, location. The salary is one component of the attorney compensation and benefits package, which also includes productivity and discretionary bonuses and insurance and savings benefits. Requirements

At least 4 years of experience.
Working knowledge of federal, New Jersey, New York State, and New York City employment laws.
Excellent legal research, drafting, writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
Be detail-oriented and self-starting.

Responsibilities

Defend employment litigation matters, including discrimination, retaliation, restrictive covenants, and wage-and-hour cases, in New Jersey and New York state and federal courts and before government agencies.
Advise and counsel employers on employment matters, including wage and hour, risk mitigation, performance management, workplace accommodations, leave laws, and reductions in force.
Draft employment agreements, employee handbooks, and related policies.
