The Employer Relations Coordinator is responsible for strategically sourcing, cultivating, and maintaining a strong network of relationships with employers at local, regional, national, and global levels. The Employer Relations Coordinator serves as the primary recruiter for multiple assigned industries and serves multiple Schools/Colleges at Liberty, and supports the Assistant Director of Employer Relations with additional special projects as needed. Employer Relations Coordinators (ERCs) work with employers and recruiters to evaluate and determine the most effective and valuable methods to source and connect with the immensely talented students and alumni produced by Liberty University. The result of this work is expanded and enhanced career and job opportunities for students and alumni; and contribute to the expansion and growth of Career Services’ initiative to develop improved and extended services for employers, students, and alumni. ERCs are responsible for recruiting employers to join Liberty’s Handshake network, and subsequently post their jobs on Handshake and participate in on-campus events such as Career Fairs, Information Sessions, Experience Events, and Employer On-Sites.
