About The Position

The Employee Services Team at Netflix is dedicated to providing specialized support and optimizing HR operations to enhance the overall success of HR services. The team's role encompasses scaling Netflix's global talent organization, enabling HR partners to focus on strategic initiatives, by fostering an empowering culture, driving operational excellence, and ensuring a proactive approach to meeting employee needs with a culture of continuous improvement. This role will provide in-depth analysis or regional specialization for complex or escalated HR inquiries, concerns, and cases, such as local Onboarding and Benefits support, Payroll, Leaves of Absence, and Stock Options Program. It is also responsible for the delivery of service in key moments in the employee’s lifecycle, such as new hire orientation, exit logistics support, and international transfers. The Generalist will collaborate with the Global Talent Operations Centers (GTOC) to provide guidance, solutions, and specialized insights to establish standardized services throughout the organization, all while adhering to employment laws and regulations. The role involves designing, building, and stabilizing new HR process frameworks, updating and creating Work Instructions and Job Aids for the Global Talent Operations Team, and collaborating with internal partner teams to enhance knowledge management and process improvement. Additionally, the role will lead or participate in theme-based projects, develop and maintain relationships with partner teams, take an active role in compliance initiatives, and drive process improvement efforts using data-driven insights.

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3-4+ years of experience as an Employee Services Generalist or similar role in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or similar roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex processes, projects, and initiatives.
  • Strong grasp of employment laws and regulations.
  • Understanding of data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-depth analysis or regional specialization for complex or escalated HR inquiries, concerns, and cases (e.g., local Onboarding and Benefits support, Payroll, Leaves of Absence, Stock Options Program).
  • Deliver service in key moments in the employee’s lifecycle, such as new hire orientation, exit logistics support, and international transfers.
  • Collaborate with the Global Talent Operations Centers (GTOC) to provide guidance, solutions, and specialized insights to establish standardized services throughout the organization, adhering to employment laws and regulations.
  • Design, build, and stabilize new HR process frameworks, assessing their suitability for transition to the Global Talent Operations Team.
  • Update and create Work Instructions and Job Aids for the Global Talent Operations Team to facilitate efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Tier 2 services.
  • Collaborate with internal partner teams (e.g., Payroll, Benefits, Mobility, Talent Acquisition) to enhance knowledge management and process improvement across service delivery centers.
  • Lead or participate in theme-based projects, partnering with the Project Management team to document new processes and train delivery teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partner teams, creating and updating Ways of Working and Playbooks.
  • Take an active role in compliance initiatives, adapting to varying compliance requirements across regions.
  • Drive process improvement efforts by evaluating and assessing existing processes, using data-driven insights.
  • Leverage data and metrics to develop insights that can further enhance service delivery.
