About The Position

We’re looking for someone who’s great with people and passionate about creating a positive work environment. As an Employee Relations Specialist at WakeMed, you’ll be the go-to person for helping managers and employees navigate tricky situations—whether it’s performance issues, behavior concerns, or just needing a neutral party to mediate a conversation. You’ll also play a big part in planning and supporting employee programs, events, and activities that make WakeMed an awesome place to work. On top of that, you’ll help keep an eye on budgets, track employment processes, and occasionally dive into data to spot trends in things like turnover and retention. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required.
  • 1 Year Human Resources experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 Year Human Resources - Employee Relations experience preferred.
  • Legal background preferred.
  • JD preferred.
