About The Position

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for the Employee Relations Program Administrator. This position reports to the ER Director and provides strategic and operational leadership within the Employee Relations Office. The role is responsible for managing programs and initiatives that enhance the functions of the ER Office, contributing to department planning and operational strategy development. Key responsibilities include managing program operations, planning and coordinating workshops and trainings, ensuring effective customer service, and supporting the creation and implementation of strategic goals. The incumbent will provide operational updates to the Employee Relations Director and Specialists, participate in strategic planning, and offer guidance to ensure compliance with NRS, NAC, university policies, and state/federal regulations. This role involves designing and implementing educational outreach, managing special projects and workflows, and fostering collaboration across UNLV and the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) to promote a respectful workplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Credentials must be obtained prior to the employment start date.
